Error Message

The case's tagging snapshot task is running (or is queued to be run) when a case backup task tries to start.

Note: The Clearwell server log will indicate that a tagging snapshot task is running when the case backup tries to start:

There are currently no plans to address this issue by way of a patch or hotfix in the current or previous versions of the software at the present time. While this issue may be resolved in a future major revision of the software at a later time, it is not currently scheduled for any release.  If you feel this issue has a direct business impact for you and your continued use of the product, please contact your Veritas Sales representative or the Veritas Sales group to discuss these concerns.

Workaround
The tagging snapshot task is automatically run every 4 hours, starting from the time of the last Clearwell restart. It is therefore difficult to predict when exactly the task will next run. For this reason, the only way to guarantee that the tagging snapshot task will not cause a case backup failure is to manually disable the tagging snapshot task. This can be done by un-checking the option "Enable scheduled jobs" on the "Case Home" > "Case Reports" page (Figure 1).
