Value does not fall within the expected range

Cause

Incorrect domain and windows group format was added.

Resolution

When adding a Windows group to a Compliance Accelerator->Employees tab, ensure the format for domain and windows group is: Domain\Windows.

1. From the Employee tab, search for the Employee group in question under 'Employees and Employee Groups'.
2. Once found, click on the Windows group and examine the Name: in the 'CA User Group' section.
3. Change the windows group so it has a format: domain\windows groupĀ  (i.e. MyDomain\MyWindowsUserGroup).
4. Click on the Save button at the bottom right corner to save the new setting.
5. At the top, click on the 'Synchronize Group' button.
Note: Synchronization can take a few minutes to several hours depending on the amount of employees that are already added in the CA environment.
6. Click on Refresh to confirm.
