The status logs for Employee sync show at the top and then disappear after completion.
Note: The user needs to click on this running status to get the information before it disappears.
The status logs will show the following error:
Error is "Rejecting these employee dues to violation of SID?PrincipalLogin/UniqueID uniqueness contraint"
Any user that was affected will show a “rejecting…” as seen in the screenshot above. This will only show when Clearwell detects a change to the AD account. Running a sync the second time with no changes to the account will not show this “rejecting” in the logs.
Note: Since the status log disappears it has to be located manually for future reference.
In the D: Drive, the status logs are kept in the Evidence Repo database. This log has a unique hash value with every Clearwell System. For example: D:\CW\V81\data\esadb_clearwell1_GFY\dataStore_evidence_repo_azuxq7smiu_64525380\fileManager
In this top folder go into the #.#.#.# folder which will have several jobRun_### folder. Sort this by date so find the latest job ran.
Note: these are related to all ICP type jobs. The job type we are looking for should start with “Starting directory synchronization task” as seen in the previous screenshot.
When the customer runs “Synchronize Now with Active directory” from the Employee List
The affected AD account does NOT update. Below is a screenshot of two accounts. One that has an updated login and one that does not.
The Abigail Miller account did NOT change.
