In the Enterprise Vault Diagnostic, Vault Information the 'VIRTUAL VAULT CONFIGURATION' section contains the following:

The EV Client logs contains the error:
[H]: Could not create an instance of Virtual Vault. Verify that EVMSP is correctly configured in MAPISVC.INF: 0x8004010F
[L]: ~EVMSPConfig::AddEVMSPService: 0x8004010F ... 01/02/2016 13:13:11.207[2308][H]: HDR:SYNC:ARC: Unable to add a Virtual Vault instance (COM error):: 0x8004010F

Cause

The EVMSP32.dll is not properly registered when Outlook 2016 is not installed in English. The Enterprise Vault Add-in expects to create the customized mapisvc.inf in the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\root\VFS\ProgramFilesCommonx86\SYSTEM\MSMAPI\1033 (where 1033 correspond to 'English' language code).

Issue/Introduction
