Veritas has noted symptoms including slow Classification throughput (e.g., multiple seconds taken per item to classify) and abnormally high memory usage by fsdmhost.exe (the process hosting the Veritas Information Classifier plugin), often high enough to trigger the shutdown of Enterprise Vault services.
Cause
The exact details vary by environment, but the performance begins to become problematic at about 60 individual entries in the LIST parameter and is usually completely untenable by 100 entries.
