Error Message

When performing a test connection to the Amazon Migrator the following error is produced in the Enterprise Vault Event log:

Event ID      - 28944
Task Category - None
The 3rd party storage system application 'OST Streamer' has logged the following message: 
CStreamerObject::Init(): method failed
Reason = 0x80070057
Description = OST API sts_open_server() failed with error: 2060001 - 'one or more invalid arguments'.

When attempting to retrieve an item that has been migrated to amazon the following error is produced in the EV Event Log:

If a second Enterprise Vault server is available that does not have this issue:

On the problematic server:

1. Stop Enterprise Vault Storage Service
2. Rename the Enterprise Vault\OST folder
3. Copy the OST folder from the working server to the affected server
4. Start the storage service
5. Run the Test from the Partition > Properties > Advanced tab
