Description
Error Message
File too large - no content index
Cause
Problem occurs with rtf files that contain specific objects like tables with large number of rows.
Earlier versions of Stellent used to extract text quickly (approx 1.6 sec), Post upgrade the same data is taking a long time (approx 5+ minutes) to extract.
The extended time results in timeouts and produces the error that the file is too large.
Oracle is researching the degradation.
Resolution
Increase the Stellent extraction timeout.
1. Navigate and Select Property Browser from Support Features
System | Support Features | Property Browser
2. Place the following values:
'Name of property to change': esa.stellent.txt.thread.timeout
'New Value (leave blank to remove)': 3600
3. Check the box for 'Confirm change. Are you sure?'
4. Press the Submit button
Temporarily increase the time-out, process the failed documents and remove the timeout by clearing the property. Keeping a high timeout might degrade performance.
Note: Service restart is required
Issue/Introduction
