“The device is not ready for use. (0x800710df)”
Cause
Configuration on EMC ECS Namespace Hard Quota is reached.
Resolution
Re-Configure EMC ECS to allow storage data to be written.
EMC can provide assistance in order to update the configuration.
Issue/Introduction
Any connection attempt to storage by any relevant process can result in an Event containing the following error.
“The device is not ready for use. (0x800710df)”
This error is also shown via the Test Connection option which is accessible via the properties of the partition in the Vault Administration Console.
