Description

Table of MAPI profiles created by Clearwell

Note: The MAPI profiles created by PSTRetriever.exe when a user is reviewing and searching, are automatically removed after 200 seconds of PST Retriever session inactivity.

Note: For a MAPI profile to be visible in the Windows Registry, the user account must be active (e.g. the user must be logged-in, or the associated Clearwell service must be running). Some of the MAPI profiles listed above are not associated with a Clearwell service, so these can be difficult to see unless the corresponding Clearwell user is logged into the appliance.

IMPORTANT: If a Clearwell administrator finds a large number of any of these profiles on their appliance and wishes to remove them, please contact Veritas Support for assistance.

Issue/Introduction

The Veritas eDiscovery Platform (Clearwell) performs various operations that create MAPI profiles. If the operations complete successfully, any MAPI profiles created by Clearwell are automatically removed afterwards. The table below lists the various MAPI profiles that Clearwell creates. This information was obtained from Clearwell version 8.1.1 running on Windows Server 2008 R2. The table contents should also be applicable to Windows Server 2012 and to Clearwell version 8.2.
