Error Message

Cannot connect to server
A problem occurred while connecting to instance 'DA' on server 'EVDAServer'. The Accelerator service is either not running or the server could not be contacted.

When click on the "More information", the following error message is displayed:

XML document could not be created because server memory is low. Use sp_xml_removedocument to release XML documents. Could not find prepared statement with handle 0. The statement has been terminated.

 

Cause

The likely cause of this issue is that a process needed for the customer instance login processing has become hung in memory on the SQL server and not released. As a result, the SQL server appears to be low in memory.

 

Resolution

To resolve the issue, reboot the SQL server as just restarting the SQL Server services may not be sufficient to clear the hung process.

When attempting to open a Compliance Accelerator (CA) or a Discovery Accelerator (DA) client, the error "Unable to connect to server" occurs.
