"Do you want to open or save uploadlicense.json"

Cause

Due to security updates, the behavior of Internet Explorer does not understand the sfl extension.

Resolution

Workaround:

Place the new SLF file into D:\CW\V9x\license\current folder and restart the eDiscovery services.


 

Issue/Introduction

Customer will get a prompt during updating their SFL license file. The screen will be stuck on Please Wait... Uploading your license... and there will be a prompt at the bottom. Please see screenshot below:
