Cause
It is possible that the messages in the Journal Inbox are missing their P2 attachment. See Dtrace excerpts below:

Note: These items are corrupted in Exchange. Once the emails are identified MFCMAPI can be utilized to validate the attachment count based on the attachment table
Resolution
Delete or move the affected emails to another location in which the Journal Task will not attempt to process them.
Issue/Introduction
The Journal Mailbox has a backlog of messages held in its inbox, and Journal Manager is generating Event ID: 3475
