Description

A client trace can be used to troubleshoot problems with the Enterprise Vault (EV) client for MAC client.

Logging is enabled by default, so recreate the operation that is generating an error or failure, and then perform the following steps:

  1. Open a new Finder window by clicking on the icon in the dock.
  2. Navigate to the "Applications" folder in the new Finder window.
  3. Find and open the "Utilities" folder.

  1. Open the Console utility program. A new window will open that lists all recent error messages the system has recorded.
  2. In the left Pane select 'Log Reports'  and the EnterpriseVault.Log will show in the middle pane. 

6. Double click the EnterpriseVault.Log file to open it up and select the Share button to Notes to save the file
