Dell hardware appliances sometimes encounter hardware related issues.  To correct hardware issues, contact Dell Hardware support.   

1. Obtain the appliance service tag before attempting to contact Dell support. (related article below.) 

2. Check the appliance based on the service tag on the Dell website: https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-us 

Note: This Dell web page will supply information on the hardware appliance including the type of server and a description of the Dell Hardware support contract. 

• If the Dell support contract has expired, contact the appropriate Veritas Management and Sales team. 
• If Dell support is available, proceed through the various support options on the page to contact Dell Support.
