Description

Under certain circumstances, there might be a need to reset the Adobe flash cache on a browser. This can be presented as a constant "Press Finished when done" error message that is displayed each time to navigate to a new screen in the eDP User Interface.

The following directions detail how to reset the Flash Cache:

  1. Open a web browser and go to:
    https://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager07.html
  2. Select the eDP server name (or proxy site) and click the "Delete website" button. This will clear the Flash cache and reload the cache upon next login to the eDP User Interface

The following directions detail how to increase the Flash Cache size:

  1. Open a web browser and go to:
    https://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager07.html
  2. Go to the tab "Global Storage Settings" (second tab from the left)
  3. Use the slider to increase the storage cache. Select "Never Ask Again" to make it unlimited

If the affected Appliance or Browser does not have web access (as can sometimes be the case), please visit Solved: How do I clear my Flash Player cache and settings? - Adobe Community - 4015768 for instructions on how to clear the cache manually.
