Description
FSAUtility includes a check-pointing mechanism for the Move, Restore, and Recreate options. The utility writes out 1 or more .bin files in a FSAUtility Checkpoint folder, this folder is named FsaUtilityData. The subfolders created are named with a hashed value starting with ' SHA256#'. Once FSAUtility as finished using the files in this directory they are deleted.
Additional Considerations:
- Default installation location: \Enterprise Vault\FsaUtilityData
- Interrupted operations files remain on the disc until the exact FSAUtility operation is run again
- Examination by subfolder created date can help determine whether the request is active or that of an interrupted request
