Description
Clearwell uses the third party tool, Stellent Outside-In, to identify a file's actual type, regardless of its file extension, prior to processing.
Use the following steps to manually verify file types:
- Open a command prompt at D:\CW\\exe\filefilter
- Run the following command line with no arguments: fileid
- On the next line, type the file name and path. You can verify a list of files by entering the full path and name on separate lines.
- When done hit return twice. The input mode will complete when it detects an empty line
Example
D:\CW\Vxxx\exe\filefilter>fileid
d:\test\vsasf.dll
d:\test\imcm52.flt
\\server\share_name\sx.cfg
"d:\test\vsasf.dll","1800"
"d:\test\imcm52.flt","1800"
"\\server\share_name\sx.cfg","4022"
The number associated with each file can be looked up in the attached table.
