Description
Reviewing documents in Near Native mode in eDiscovery versions 9.5.2 and below requires Internet Explorer 11 and the Brava Client ActiveX control be installed on each reviewer's computer.
Upon first use by a reviewer, the Brava client will be pushed to the user's computer and prompt for installation. To successfully install, the logged in user must be a local administrator.
If this is not possible, first try lowering the Security setting in Internet Explorer Options to medium or lower for the Internet, Local intranet and Trusted sites.
If unable to lower the security settings, the following method has been tested with Internet Explorer 11:
- Open Internet Explorer go to Tools > Internet Options and select the Security tab.
- Click on Trusted Sites in the select a zone to view or change security settings.
- Click on Sites button.
- In the Add this website to the zone: field type in
brava-demos.infograph.com .
- Click Add.
- Click Custom level and make sure that Download signed ActiveX controls is set to Enable or Prompt.
- If these settings are locked out/grayed out check with a System Administrator to see if there is a Global Restriction in place for ActiveX controls.
- Close Internet Explorer.
