A file with the extension EMZ is a Windows Compressed Enhanced Metafile which usually contains some sort of image data. EMZ files are normally found embedded into Microsoft Office documents like Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. These files cannot be processed by Veritas eDP as a stand-alone file; however they can be processed if they are embedded into an Office document. 

To process EMZ files, use the following steps:

1. Open a Blank Microsoft Office Word Document 
2. Go to "Insert > Picture"
3. Browse to the EMZ file 
4. Select the EMZ file and click "Insert" 
5. Save this Word document and process it in eDiscovery.
