Occasionally the converted and Extracted file location has to be relocated for certain cases. Separate locations for individual cases can be specified. The following steps describe how to safely change Converted and Extracted file locations for cases in eDiscovery.
1) Go to System > Support Features
2) Under "Step 1: Choose a support feature", select Property Browser
3) Step 2 (optional): Choose an Appliance, do not change
4) Select the case (or system)*, select case (select the case being affected by the property change)
5) Under "Name of property to change", enter esa.case.convertedFilesDir
6) Under "New value (leave blank to remove)", enter the new path
7) Check this option, "Confirm change. Are you sure?*"
8) Click on Submit (It will provide a confirmation of the change.)
Repeat the steps for esa.case.extractedFilesDir
A restart of the eDiscovery services is optional after updating these properties.
