During processing, Veritas eDiscovery Platform will index the text of all documents that contain text. If the processing source contains images, then those images will only have indexed text created during processing if the option "Processing > Settings > Configure Processing Parameters and Features > Use OCR for documents where no text is found (e.g. image files, image-only PDFs)" is selected.

Note: It is not recommended to select this option unless the amount of items being processed is small, as Optical Character Recognition (OCR) requires a very high amount of system resources.
If the source has been processed without this option selected, the images can be found by going to "Analysis & Review > Advanced Search > File > File Type > All Images":

or by using the filter "File Type > All Images" on the left side of "Analysis & Review" after running a search:

These images can have indexed text created by selecting the item, and going to "Actions > OCR".

Note: This is the preferred method of running Optical Character Recognition (OCR) as images can be specifically selected which will decrease the amount of system resources required when running the OCR job.
