Description
The “superuser” account is set up when Veritas eDP (eDiscovery Platform) is installed. The account is configured as a local account, and the password is configured to a default password. This password can be changed from the
System > Users screen, in the Veritas eDP user interface.
Note: If the “superuser” default password is needed, contact eDP support.
If the changed password for “superuser” is lost, then the account will need to have the password reset. The “superuser” account can be changed using the solutions below:
Solution 1
- Log in to the eDP user interface using an administrative account.
- This account can be a local or enterprise (LDAP) account
- Go to System > Users.
- Click on the “superuser” account.
- Click Reset Password.
- Type the new password into the New Password and Confirm New Password fields.
- Click OK.
- Click Save.
Solution 2
If no account exists that can be used to reset the “superuser” account, then the password will need to be reset in the database. Please contact eDP Support to reset the “superuser” account.
