Description

In a situation where it is needed to suspend the archiving for targeted group of users, the administrator can disable the associated provisioning group by unchecking Archive mailboxes in this provisioning group. This will stop mailbox archiving for all the mailboxes associated to the provisioning group. 

To navigate to the Provisioning Group properties follow the steps below:

1. Launch Vault Admin Console (VAC) - Expand Targets - Exchange
2. Expand the domain and open the Provisioning Group  
   1. Note: If there are multiple targets in the Exchange system hierarchy, select the Provisioning group appropriate for the Exchange server.  If there is only one Provisioning Group, it is required to create a new Group at a higher priority for the subset of users to be suspended.
3. Uncheck Archive mailboxes in this provisioning group.
