Communication with Brava! Server error:

Server Details:

failed to initialize.
HTTP Response Code is 500, not 2XX.

Cause

Upon review of the brava server log, the following error is seen

SEVERE: Allocate exception for servlet PropertiesServlet
javam.servlet.ServletException: Cannot contact a License Server


Upon review of the catalina log, the following error
 is seen

com.infograph.httpserver.LicenseServers pingEachServer
SEVERE: License Server Down: localhost


The following services are found to be stopped

esaIGCBravaLicenseService
esaIGCJobProcessor

The services could be failing to start due to the following reasons
 
Reason 1
Not able to start due to a logon failure

Reason 2
Permissions are not set correctly for the accounts assigned to the services
 

Resolution

To correct the issue, follow the solutions below
 
Solution 1
Check to see if the password changed for the account assigned to the services

Solution 2
Ensure that the permissions are correctly applied to the account assigned to the services
