Description

Microsoft Exchange and Office 365 (O365) email are capable of creating Online Archives that can be used to store/archive data from the user's primary mailbox. These archives are separate message stores that are shown alongside the mailbox where they are attached. These archives are supported as collection sources for both Exchange and O365, and are automtaically included in the collection when collecting from the attached mailbox.

The following steps detail how to disable collecting from the Online Archive when collecting from the attached mailbox:
  1. Login to the Veritas eDP UI
  2. Go to "System > Support Features"
  3. From the drop down select "Property Browser"
  4. In the field "Name of property to change" type in "esa.icp.collection.exchange.CollectPersonalArchive"
  5. In the field "New Value" type in "false"
  6. Select the checkbox "Confirm Change"
  7. Click "Submit"
Online Archives will no longer be collected when collecting from a mailbox that has an Online Archive.
