Reason: The account under which the SMTP Archiving task runs does not have write access to the target archive 1234567A890123456B7890CD1234567E89010000EVSERVER.
Error Code 0x80040303
SMTP Archiving task will attempt to archive this file later.

Cause
This issue can be caused by at least two issues:
- The Vault Store that hosts the target Archive does not have an Open Partition
- The target Archive does not have Write permissions granted to the account which is running the SMTP Archiving Task
Resolution
First confirm whether the Vault Store has an Open Partition:
- Open the Vault Administration Console (VAC)
- Expand the left-tree: {EV_Site_Name}->Archives->SMTP
- Use the Vault Store column to determine the Vault Store that the Archive resides in
- Expand the left-tree: {EV_Site_Name}->Vault Store Groups->{Vault_Store_Group_Name}->{Vault_Store_Name}
- Review the Status column, one Partition must be in the Open state
- If no Partitions are in the Open state, determine which Partiton should be Open
- Right-click the proper Partition and click Properties
- Change the State from Ready or Closed to Open
- Click OK
- Confirm that archiving has resumed and no 41544 warning messages are occurring
If the Partition is Open and the event is occurring then confirm/grant the proper account Write permissions on the Archive
- Open the Vault Administration Console (VAC)
- Expand the left-tree: {EV_Site_Name}->Archives->SMTP
- Right-click the {Archive_Name} and click Properties
- Click the Permissions tab
- If the Account that is configured to run the SMTP Archiving Task is not present click Add...
- Find the appropriate Account
- Click the {Account_Name}
- Click Add
- Click OK
- Click on the {Account_Name}
- Review the Permissions, confirm there are no Deny permissions set
- If not granted manually Grant the Write permission
- Click OK
- Confirm that archiving has resumed and no 41544 warning messages are occurring
Issue/Introduction
The 41544 Warning is occurring every 15 minutes in the Veritas Enterprise Vault event log and no items are being archived
