Description
Enterprise Vault has a list of recommended antivirus exclusions which are to be setup in order to maintain Enterprise Vault data integrity. See 100017720.
Ensure that the correct antivirus folder-level exclusions recommended for Enterprise Vault are in place.
- Click Start > All Programs.
- Click McAfee > McAfee Endpoint Security.
- In the McAfee Endpoint Security dialog box, click Threat Prevention.
- In the Settings dialog box, scroll down to Exclusions.
- Click Add.
- In the Add Exclusion window, add the following file and folder paths.
**\inetpub\temp\appPools\EnterpriseVaultAppPool\
**\Windows\inf\Enterprise Vault Index Query Server\
**\Windows\TEMP\
<install_path>Program Files (x86)\Enterprise Vault\EVIndexing\data
<install_path>\Users\<VaultServiceAccount>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5
- Click OK.
- Click Apply.
