If you are affected by the aforementioned issue and need more details about the registry keys removed by the Windows updates 1703 or 1709 please contact Enterprise Vault Support Services and open a new case.
The Windows 10 updates 1703 and 1709 removed a few registry entries necessary for Enterprise Vault retrievals to work properly.
After the upgrade to Windows 10 versions 1703 (Creators Update) or 1709 (Fall Creators Update) and Enterprise Vault no longer retrieves archived items in Microsoft Outlook. Each attempt fails with 'No such interface supported 8000FFFF' This issue occurs with different Microsoft Outlook and Enterprise Vault Add-In versions and only if Vault Cache is enabled.
