Cause
An unrecognized character (often from converting mail from Mac OSX to Windows format) causes Muhimbi to render the character as "d\plain". This is a known issue with the currently utilized version of Muhimbi in all versions of Veritas eDiscovery (eDP) prior to 9.1.
Resolution
With the release of eDP 9.1 and the update of Muhimbi to version 8.2, this issue has been resolved. For information on how to get eDP 9.1 you can download the latest copy using our product Download Server: https://downloads.enterprisevault.com/ediscovery-platform/REL442790
