Description

When processing sources that originated from Exchange mailboxes where Enterprise Vault (EV) Mailbox Archiving is present, they may contain EV Shortcuts. A user may run into the issue of eDiscovery Platform (eDP) processing EV shortcuts. An option is available within eDP that will allow processing to skip processing of EV shortcuts.  The EV shortcuts will still be discovered but not processed with this option enabled.

1. In the eDP user interface, click on System > Support Features > Property Browser (from drop-down) 

2. In 'Name of property to change', please type :  esa.crawler.mapi.msgTypeToSkip 

3. In 'New value (leave blank to remove)' type: IPM.Note.EnterpriseVault.Shortcut

4. Confirm change. Are you sure?*  

5. Click the Submit button 

6. Restart Clearwell services using Option 3 and 4 in the Clearwell Utility.
