Description

Error Message

Your Clearwell secure store is invalid for this cluster: Please contact support to help resolve the issue.

Cause

eDiscovery servers residing as a Cloud service (example: Azure) will receive a new service tag after each reboot.
Appliances using a Consumption license will fail to successfully function after a reboot due to the 'license to service tag validation' process not matching.

Resolution

To resolve this error, use the following steps:

1. Open a command prompt
2. Type D: and hit enter to change to the D: drive
3. Type "cd D:\CW\V##"  where V## is your current eDiscovery version number and hit enter
4. Type "b quota-admin -- -command sign -stores all" and hit enter
5. Once the command completes, log out and then back into eDiscovery to see if the error has been resolved

If the above fails to fix this error, use the following steps to build incremental configuration changes:

1. Login to the eDiscovery server
2. On the desktop locate and open the "Clearwell Utility"
3. Type "7" and hit enter
4. Following the on-screen prompts to shut down Clearwell services, build the incremental configuration changes, then restart Clearwell services
5. Once the services are restarted, log in to Clearwell to verify the error has been resolved

If the error persists after these troubleshooting steps, please contact Technical Support for further assistance.
