job 1.5.6.1490094768263266345 failed with exception com.teneo.esa.litholds.LitHoldException: [#510218]
An unexpected Lithold exception has occurred. Unmarshalling Error:
unexpected element (uri:"", local:"ADObjectGUID").
Expected elements are {}reason>,<{}custodianName>,<{}lastUpdatedDate>,<{}surveyAnswers>,<{}recipientID>,<{}custodianID>,<{}userName>,<{}UUID>,<{}status>
Caused by: org.apache.cxf.binding.soap.SoapFault

Cause

This error can result when an invalid target namespace references a confirmation server with a lower version of MySQL.  This can occur if a node backup from a prior version of eDiscovery is restored, with configuration, to a newer release that has an updated version of MySQL or a stand-alone Confirmation server has not been upgraded to match the MySQL version level of the Admin server.

Resolution

In a combined Admin/Confirmation server configuration, confirm that the Confirmation server and Admin server hostnames/IP values point to the current appliance or Cluster Master in a Distributed Architecture environment (See Figure 1). With separate Admin and Confirmation servers, confirm that the Confirmation server hostname/IP value on the Admin server points to the correct Confirmation server (See Figure 2) and that the Confirmation server is running the same version of MySQL as the Admin server (See Figure 3).

Issue/Introduction

Legal hold notices fail to send even though communications with the SMTP and Confirmation server is confirmed and email can be sent from the server using an third-party email client.
