Cause
An Active Directory contact object stores the associated user’s details such as the phone number, mailing address, and so on. Such Contact users do not have the Object-Sid (User Security Identifier) associated with it. The SMTP provisioning task failed to add such Contact users to SMTP Mailbox Journaling provisioning groups.
Resolution
This issue has been addressed in Enterprise Vault versions higher than 12.5; available from Downloads.
