Description

It may be necessary to find the version of TomCat installed on an eDiscovery server for security purposes, troubleshooting, or other reasons. The following steps can be used to find the currently installed TomCat version for a Veritas eDiscovery server:

1. Open an elevated command prompt
   • Right click on "C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe" and click "Run as Administrator"
      
2. Type in "D:" and hit
    
3. Type in "D:\CW\VXX\tomcat\bin" and hit (Where "VXX" is the currently installed eDiscovery version
    
4. Type in "version.bat" and hit

The batch file script will run and after about 30 seconds will display the following information:
