[#280000] License Error: can't deserialize from XML

Cause

N/A

Resolution

1. On the eDP server please open a command prompt in d:\CW\vxx\.

2. Copy the following folder and paste it to a backup location:
d:\cw\vxx\license\current

3. Run the command:
b clean-license

4. Delete the contents of d:\cw\vxx\license\current

5. Restart services via option 3 and 4 of Clearwell Utility.

6. Try applying the license in the eDP user interface again.

If that does not work, please try the following:

1. On the eDP server please open a command prompt in d:\CW\vxx\.

2. Copy the following folder and paste it to a backup location:
d:\cw\vxx\license\current

3. Run the command:
b clean-license

4. Delete the contents of d:\cw\vxx\license\current

6. Recreate the current folder

7. Copy the new SLF license to d:\cw\vxx\licenses\current

8. Run option 7 (Build Incremental Configuration Changes) from the Clearwell Utility.

9. Try applying the license in the eDP user interface again.
