An exception is raised when a process encounters an unexpected fault.

Cause
After backup or when storage service is restarted, Enterprise Vault EV will scan the archived items and make a validation check to ensure the the DVS and DVSSP files are not corrupt. If the validation fails, EV will attempt to delete the files and re-archive the files from the Storage Queue.
However, when EV cannot delete the item due to the Archive or Item being on hold, the errors will be seen.
Resolution
Remove the hold on the item or archive. Archives can be placed 'on hold' by deselecting "Allow deletion of archived item and of this archive" under the Archive Properties. To allow the deletion and retry to occur check this setting:
