Your Microsoft Internet Explorer includes the latest version of Adobe Flash Player built-in.  Windows update will inform you when new versions of the Flash player are available.  Click Yes to visit the Flash Player version page.

Cause

This is caused by not having the Desktop Experience feature of Windows 2012 R2 installed.

Resolution

  1. Select Server Manager
  2. Manage
  3. Add Roles and Features
  4. Features
  5. User Interfaces and Infrastructure
  6. Desktop Experience
  7. Install
  8. Reboot Server

Issue/Introduction

When using the eDiscovery Platform in Windows 2012 R2 with Internet Explorer(IE), IE will keep reporting the following message on every page: Your Microsoft Internet Explorer includes the latest version of Adobe Flash Player built-in. Windows update will inform you when new versions of the Flash player are available. Click Yes to visit the Flash Player version page. Clicking No will clear the message, but it will return on the next page visited.
