2019-08-08 10:29:48,751 INFO [collection.ev.EVMailPostProcessor] (pool-34-thread-1:) Error while writing mail file Veritas-Test-0.29.6.3-0.pst, deleting mail file and rewriting
The end user manually stopped an EV collection task during the middle of writing a PST.
Once an EV collection task is manually stopped, all PST Profiles are forced to close. If Outlook is active with PST insertions, that session will remain open. All following PST Profiles that are requesting to open and write to a PST, Outlook is unable to accept the open request. eDP waits until the timeout for the request is reached and begins the recovery process... 'deleting mail file and rewriting'. Deleting the Profile and creating a new open request is, once again, unfulfilled by Outlook since Outlook is still engaged with the stopped task.
The process of 'deleting mail file and rewriting' timeout continues in a never ending cycle.
Option 1: Restart the stopped task and allow the task to complete.
Option 2: Reboot the server, thus restarting the outlook application.
Note: Version 9.1.1 and higher, introduced 'Concurrent EV Collection Tasks'.
The major reason customers manually stop a running EV Collection Task is a more critical EV Task needs to be executed. With version 9.1.1+, the running task no longer needs to be stopped in order to execute the critical task. Multiple tasks will run concurrently in the new version of the product.
