Cause

This issue has been observed when an unsupported version of Outlook or (no Outlook) is installed on the Enterprise Vault server where the Storage Service is located.

 

Resolution

Ensure that a supported version of Outlook is installed on the Enterprise Vault server where the Storage Service resides.

Note: Ensure that the recommended registry settings for AttachmentMax and RecipientMax are present.

Issue/Introduction

When performing an EVSVR operation that retrieves items from storage, an error is observed on all or some of the items being retrieved.
