Cause

Filer configuration contains invalid DFS entries

When the webserver reads the list of DFS entries from the database, a DFS filer with no monitored shares will cause the browser to freeze

Resolution

In the Data Insight console, navigate to Settings - Inventory - Filers

Filter the list By Device Type = DFS

Remove any filers in the list where the Shares Monitored column is 0 by using the Select Action drop-down and choosing Delete

After selecting to view the DFS shares in the Workspace the UI becomes frozen forcing users to close the browser session
