The conversion of Microsoft Office documents begins with Muhimbi.  In a Distributed Architecture environment, the Muhimbi conversion can be assigned to any Node that has the Esa_Image_Helper service enabled.  If the Network traffic is high, there is a possibility the Muhimbi job request will be denied.  Once this occurs, the job will be sent directly to IGC for conversion.

This condition is caused by the infrastructure environment in which the eDiscovery Platform (eDP) product is deployed and is out of the scope of eDP support.

Veritas research has shown that running eDP in a Virtual Machine environment will have higher network and disk activity.   Running eDP on physical servers will reduce the network and disk activities.
