Run Now / Schedule Archiving shows processing status as completed with zero items archived and reports misleading information with Items not processed due to message class exclusion & were ineligible under the policy.
The initial count of mailbox items would match the count of items ineligible and message class exclusion in such situation.
Cause
The behavior can be seen when none of the vault store partition is open for the vault store processing the Archive.
Resolution
EV requires a partition in an open status to archive items. Hence, make sure that the vault store for the corresponding mailbox archive has one partition in an open status.
