Error Message

 

Depending on the version of Enterprise Vault an error such as the following might be seen in the ItemAdditionStatuslog table within the vault store database. 

 

errorcode 13. "log-msg- id:CONVERTER_TOO_LARGE log-msg:

The data node has [256416323] bytes and is larger than the maximum allowed [200000000]."

 

A Dtrace of EVIndexVolumesProcessor would should the below error code:

Returning all [1] item actions from the status list. The highest acknowledged item action before the first pending is [Item SN:'29928' - Action SN:'29928' - Status:'Success' - *Error Code:'13'* - DataReader:''].

 

Cause

 

Due to indexing engine constraints

 

Resolution

 

Veritas has acknowledged that the above-mentioned issue is present in the version(s) of the product(s) referenced in this article.


There are currently no plans to address this issue by way of a cumulative hotfix or service pack in the current or previous versions of the software at the present time. This issue may be resolved in a future major revision of the software at a later time, but is not scheduled for any release.
