Error Message

The Enterprise Vault Management Shell will error with the following:

Cannot disable both classification engines.

The cmdlet is working as designed. The message "Cannot disable both classification engines." is meant to convey that once a single engine is enabled the cmdlet will not execute if the result is that neither classification is enabled or will result in FCIEnabled and VICEnabled having False values. 

If FCIEnabled needs to be disabled with the intention of enabling VIC then perform the following:

• First Initialize the VIC engine per: https://www.veritas.com/content/support/en_US/doc/96069939-137825825-0/v125196883-137825825
• Then the Disable-EVClassification -vic will run properly

If only VIC is enabled and needs to disabled there is a workaround available.
