Cause
When there is a case associated with an Access Group, the Export Details will fail with an error similar to the error listed in the Error Message section if the Export cannot find that particular case. Chances are, that particular case might have been archived and removed from the All Cases.
Resolution
To resolve the issue, the case id reported in the error must be restored back from the archive.
Follow steps below to resolve the issue:
1. Identify the case corresponding to the case id.
- From the eDiscovery Platform (eDP) UI, click on the System->Support features and select the Property Browser from the drop-down menu.
- In the field next to Pattern to match, type: *backupdir* and click on the Submit button.
- Make note of the folder in the result.
- Using Windows Explorer, go to the folder listed from the result above (There should be a folder called Cases).
- Open this folder should reveal the case id and its case name (For instance, if the case id = 0.6.12.1234567890 and the corresponding case name is called case_one, there should be a folder called 0.6.12.1234567890-case_one.
2. Restore the corresponding case back.
- From the eDP UI, click on All Processing->Archives tab.
- Look for the case called case_one (This is the case that needs to be restored back).
- Check the box in front of this case and click on the Restore... button to restore the archived case.
3. Once the archive is completed, try exporting the Access Groups again.
- Click on the System->Users->Access Groups tab.
- Click on the Export Details. Export now should be successful.
