There are no associated errors or details logged when this behavior occurs.

Resolution

There are no plans to address this issue by way of a patch or hotfix in earlier versions of the software at the present time.  However, the issue has been addressed in the revision of the product specified at the end of this article. 
 
Please contact your Veritas Sales representative or the Veritas Sales group for upgrade information including upgrade eligibility to the release containing the resolution for this issue.

Issue/Introduction

During Enterprise Vault (EV) Exchange Archiving or Journaling, items can be archived with an incorrect Sent\Received date if certain MAPI properties such as PR_MESSAGE_DELIVERY_TIME and PR_LAST_MODIFICATION_TIME are missing on the original message. Those items will have an incorrect IDDateTime stored in the Saveset Table for their respective IDtransaction record.
This issue affects the following version of Enterprise Vault:
  • EV 12.4.x
