The task controller cannot start the following MAPI-dependent tasks because the required version of MAPI is missing or incorrectly configured on the Enterprise Vault server:

Reason: Cannot start the task because Outlook is incorrectly configured on the Enterprise Vault server.

Dtrace of TaskController shows following:
EV:M CMAPIVersionException - Internal error: Failed to initialize MAPI sub-system|Cause of error: Unspecified error (0x80004005)
Resolution
- Close any outlook profile if opened.
- Navigate to “C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\System\MSMAPI\1033” .
- Rename the MAPISVC.dll to MAPISVC.dll_original
- Relaunch the Outlook profile for Vault service account, it should create a new MAPISVC.dll matching with the Outlook version.
- Restart the task controller service, it should detect the correct MAPI version.
