Description

Error Message

This is no error visible, only a lack of  a navigational GUI within the web page.

Cause

This is caused by eDP attempting to use an invalid or non-existent cookie and by eDP not having successfully upgraded the Data Map and Collection database.

Resolution

Bypass the blank page to upgrade the Data Map and Collection database:
1. Ensure the master and all worker nodes have been upgraded to the same version of eDP
2. Ensure that all services are running on each node.
3. Log into master using Chrome and it will display the blank page.
4. Navigate to this URL:  NOTE: Replace servername with your fully qualified domain name or localhost if on the server and include the ? with the URL
http://servername/esa/navActionJS.do?
5. The GUI should be visible now.  Once the page finishes loading, there should be a message asking to upgrade the Data Map and Collection database. Do not click the button at this time.
6. Clear the history within Chrome and close it.
7. Open Chrome on the master again.  If the page says Your session expired, refresh the web page.
8. The message should disappear.  Log in with a System Manager user account.
9. At this point the GUI should be visible again and all cases plus the Data Map/Collections data base should be upgrading (or upgraded).  Now proceed with verifying everything is upgraded:
a. Go to All Processing to confirm that the Status for each case is On-Line.  If it is still upgrading/post-processing it'll say: Processing.  This can be monitored under Case > Processing > Processing Status
b. Once everything has finished, go back to All Cases.  Navigation should work properly now.
