The 'extra' redaction is caused by the misaligned page break. The items that need to be redacted are redacted.
Pre-version eDP 10, the near native view was converted using a pixel representation of the item. When a page break was encountered, the data text string could be split between two pages (See Figure 1).

In eDP 10, PrizmDoc is used for the conversion to near native view. PrizmDoc utilizes a PDF format which allows for a hard page break, thus eliminating the splitting of text data between pages (See Figure 2).

Resolution
To no longer see the 'extra redactions', upgrade to eDiscovery Platform version 10.
Issue/Introduction
After using the bulk redaction option, reviewing the documents in Redaction/Annotation view, there could be a redaction that appears to be out of place.
