Cause

The Microsoft Graph API calls used to implement the new Office 365 collection method introduced in eDiscovery v9.5.1 require updated Java libraries that are not included in the version 9.5.0 General Availability installation.  The required Java update to version 8u251 is included as a separate installer with Cumulative Hotifixes v9.5.1 and v9.5.2.

Resolution

Install the Java libraries required for the Microsoft Graph API using the JDKUpgrader in the folder Java_SE_Development_Kit_8_Update_251(JDK 8u251) included with Cumulative Hotifixes v9.5.1 and v9.5.2.

Issue/Introduction

In eDiscovery version 9.5.1 and v9.5.2, Office O365 Discovery fails for an Azure AD tenant even though the correct application credentials (Tenant ID, Application ID and Client Secret) and permissions are set correctly.
